Our application does not collect any data for commercial or tracking purposes. All recovered data is stored strictly locally on the user's device and is not passed on to third parties.
2 - Data collected
Our application only collects the data necessary for the core operation of the application. This data includes information about the user's device battery, such as battery level, voltage, current (amperage), temperature, health status, and system language.
3 - Data security
We take data security very seriously. All logs and preferences collected by our app are stored locally on the user's device and protected by the Android sandbox and device security measures.
4 - Advertising
The free version of Battery - Alerts & Infos displays ads provided by third-party advertising networks. These ad providers may process non-sensitive device technical identifiers in accordance with their standard privacy policies.
5 - Gemini AI Analysis & Telemetry
The application includes an optional battery diagnostic feature powered by Gemini AI. When the user explicitly requests an AI analysis, the application compiles and transmits the smartphone's battery metrics recorded during the last 7 days.
- Data included in the analysis: Charging and discharging rates, charging speeds, battery levels (percentages), voltage, amperage (current), temperatures, and relevant timestamps.
- No sensitive or personal data: No personal identity details, device identifiers (such as IMEI, serial number, or MAC address), contacts, photos, messages, locations, or account credentials are ever included or transmitted. Only raw battery usage metrics are shared.
- User responsibility & Google data processing: Triggering this AI analysis is completely optional and strictly user-initiated. By selecting and launching this feature, the user acknowledges and agrees to assume sole responsibility for sending this battery telemetry to Google / Gemini AI. The data transmitted to Gemini is subject to Google's applicable privacy policy and terms of service.
6 - Support Communication
When sending a report or bug feedback to the application's support team, users have the option to provide their email address. This email address is retained for a maximum of 90 days and is solely used to reply to your inquiry.
